Out of the mist
« on: October 17, 2013, 11:47:18 am »

Having visited this location in Southern France a few years ago and being greeted with low cloud and heavy rain, not the best when cycling. I returned to photograph the string of castles perched in precarious locations. This day was a mixture of more heavy rain and a 5 minute spell when you could just see this castle. 10 seconds after this the weather closed right in for at least the next hour. Returned the next day to blue skies and fluffy clouds. Fuji XE-1 Fuji XF 18-55 @55mm f8 1/50s.

I rather like this.  Fog can be a lot of fun.

A lovely image. I must say that I constantly shoot in fog because every time is different. Even my wife will drag my lazy butt out of bed when there is fog about because she loves what magic can exist in those mornings.
