I like the first because it's very realistic, colors are not exagerated as they are in reality.

Was it full moon ?!

Well done.

Have a Nice Day.

Good shots all of them. The sky in #1 is really good, with a mix of clouds and stars.

The first image grabs my attention. I like it, the starry sky and the tepee give a sense of quietness.

Big Dipper stars appear too even in brightness, considering that some are seen through clouds and some aren't

Otherwise lovely. :)

Thanks, everyone.

This was Saturday night, Thierry: about a half moon.

I tried adjusting star brightness, Peter, but they are all stuck on "full". I had the opposite concern from you, that one star is a little dull in the clouds. I would also like to turn down the non-Dipper stars.

You might try adjusting their brightness by making them smaller with the clone tool.  A lot of work, though.

The first photo is fantastic! Is this a single long exposure shot or did you stack multiple images?

Good idea! That would also fix the small trails.

One 30-s exposure at ISO 3200, Murat.

I didn't know the Big Dipper was there when I shot this, it was mostly behind cloud. I was pleased to see that the stars burned through.

The first one is exceptional.

It is indeed.  At first,  I thought it was a comp, but after looking at the moonlight direction on the tent and the camera's aim direction from the stars, I decided that it's not.  Heck of a job, sdwilsonsct.

I agree.  #1 is very nice.  My initial reaction was that the. tepee was painted.  I also like the simplicity of #2.  Personally it actually speaks to me more than #1.  Another nicely done set Scott.

PS. The Graslands is on my to-do list.

Glad someone liked #2, Chuck. Write ahead before you go to Grasslands and I'll share some tips.

Lets hear 'em.  I looked for GNP once and couldn't find it.  ( I was in a bit of a hurry, though and gave up easily)

Hi Peter,

My main tip is to stay at The Crossing, with rooms, tent- and RV sites on the edge of the park. You can start shooting from your door.

Currently, there is no gas near the park and other facilities are open only sporadically, so be self-sufficient.

To find it, drive an hour south from Swift Current.
