Leica M9 Black Body - this is basically new. The box was opened and some lens tests made, then put back in the box. That's it. Never used outdoors, counter reads 198 exposures!

It was a gift to the photographer from Leica, and is uniquely marked on the top plate 'Paris Photo 2011'  (The leading photographic art fair in the world)  As such, this is a unique body - the only M9 in the world marked like this. Of course you can always put black tape over the top if you prefer it not to be known...

Complete with original box and everything in there - chargers, leads, strap, manuals, body caps, battery, etc.
Everything is mint no scratches, no marks, no brassing or anything at all to report. The photo of the base is not showing a mark, it is simply the plastic protector is still on it. All as new.

$4500. Personal collection preferred in NYC, if at all possible.

Why would it be worth more than a regular second hand? Any certificate about who the famous photographer was?
