Lightroom 5 and IQ160
« on: October 15, 2013, 01:05:25 pm »

Dear all,

I just bought an IQ160, and I am planning to use Lightroom to process the files. I know a lot of people recommend Capture One, but at least at first, I'd like to keep my workflow in Lightroom, which is familiar to me. I'll probably study C1 at some point, but not now.
So my question is, does Lightroom 5 bring any image quality improvements over Lightroom 4 for the IQ160 ? Until now, I haven't upgraded my Lightroom 4 copy, because I haven't seen any major improvement that would be really important for me (although the new method to see sensor dust looks nice).

Thanks in advance !

Lr 5 has image quality improvements over Lr 4, but these are "general" improvements in that they apply to all images, not only IQ160 files.
