One of three small breaks in the rain. I took advantage of all three. The walk was confined to a small marina area.

I would crop out the white thing (bird?) sitting on the pillar, kinda distracts.

If you go for 8x10 format, you'd achieve that. Ever since it was invented, Leica format (ie, 1.5 ratio) has been criticized as being too elongated, particularly in its portrait orientation, making it rather unsuitable for classical composition.

The white thing is a piling cap. I'll have a look at it without the cap. I had to choose this crop ratio because the posting parameters are 1000 on the longest side. 8x10 seemed the easiest crop ratio to get uniformity.
