I know, I know, and I apologize in advance for even broaching the subject, but I came across the following article today and thought I'd throw it into the mix. Although I've decided not to go the Adobe CC software 'rental' route, I've tried to remain impartial about it. I don't use PS, and LR (for the moment) is still available standalone. However, for those who are undecided, the link below offers some interesting information (there are a series of articles, all written by the same author).http://macperformanceguide.com/blog/2013/20130508_1a-Adobe-legal-agreement.html
Adobe's $10/month offer for both PS and LR seems to have tempted a lot of people who were otherwise uncommitted. I must admit, when I first heard about it I was reminded of the following quote from Winston Churchill:
"Churchill: Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?
Socialite: My goodness, Mr. Churchill ... Well, I suppose ... we would have to discuss terms, of course ...
Churchill: Would you sleep with me for five pounds?
Socialite: Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!
Churchill: Madam, we've already established that. Now we are haggling about the price."
