Campus quad pano

I scouted this several times, looking for the right weather, sun position, etc., and shot it yesterday evening. It's a 15 frame stitch using a Fuji XE1 and the 14mm f/2.8 lens at f/13. I misjudged the exposure a little, so the individual frames are about a half stop over, but they recovered pretty well in Lightroom. Stitched using PTGui, then reimported into LR for final editing.

I find the Fuji is a nice compromise for stitching -- it's small enough that I can use the smallest (and least expensive) Nodal Ninja device.

For tripod work I use an old manual cable release from my 4x5 system. When I unscrewed my soft release on the Fuji, it dropped to the ground and fell into one of the cracks between the tiles on the porch and disappeared forever. Dang. There goes thirty bucks.
