Hassy -- tripod -- always drawing too much attention -- but was the nature of the beast then ...

Lots of work to shoot a very public spot -- with it sans people  ;D

Very nice! You're right, it's a lot of work to keep the crowd out of the frame.

I remember the Rollei  SL 66 had a rotating prism  >> so I could not always have to work from the back of the camera ... You really needed a sturdy - tall tripod > to reach above the crowd ..especially on this spot of the Champs-Elysees

But its a sale-able travel spot  >> for a gallery wall ...  :D Everyone knows the landmark -- just exclude people = if you want a sale ...
