Oh, that's a shame!

It features a couple of dancers - pixar-style cartoon figures - who do a repetitive dance routine to a series of R'n'R standards. For a couple of numbers you watch, but after that, it becomes very disconcerting. It's a loop, but seems to draw one in... the girl appears to defy gravity, both in shape and in dance and the slight, young male figure has the strength to make it seem so.

I eventually found myself getting quite attached to her... so I got up and pulled out Yann Arthus-Bertrand's book The Earth From The Air to distract myself. That almost gave me a hernia, but I put it onto the collapsible perspex stand that came with Helmut Newton's Sumo (minor edition, but also heavy as hell), and a pleasant half-hour was spent looking at that.

Oh well...

;-)

It worked here.

Question to the animators:
Why aren't they doing the Twist to Chubby Checker?  Instead they do some sort of Jitterbug.

I suppose it's a form of Lindy Hop... wasn't everything, eventually? Would have been nice if they'd rung some changes, but then exit hypnosis.
