Profoto Pro5 Packs POWER CABLE on the a budget.
« on: September 23, 2013, 02:41:19 am »

Hello Luminous friends,

I picked up four Profoto 5 packs and 3 Profoto Pro5 heads recently and am looking for help to hunt down well priced power cables for the packs.

Is there a sneaky way to get them powered without by the official $80 Profoto cable? Say a particular brand of kettle use them or something strange?

They take the same power cable as the 6a and 7a, which looks very similar to the Broncolor power cable I have.

Kind regards,

Max

Hello,

My new Bowens generators use this type of plug and I wanted longer power leads so I bought these plus on EBay which did the trick and attached them to extension leads. I think Profoto generators use the same plug

Hello,

The cables which came with the Bowens where 2 meters which for me are to short for my studio and on location so I now have 5 and 10 meter cables for the job.

Cheers
