I like the processing, especially in #2.

Both fine photographs with wonderful detail, contrast and tactility (is that word?).

I think the first, though, suffers from the leaves apparently levitating over a black abyss. Even some very slight detail int he black would add depth and "grounding" to the image. But then again, I'm coming from more of a "realist" camp and have trouble suspending reality when the subject of a photo is so real to begin with.
