Dawn near Cabo Sardao - Sw Portugal
« on: September 21, 2013, 09:10:53 am »

I visit this area regularly, and whenever I have the chance, I go out early to shoot the dawn. This time, I went out with my new Fujinon 14mm lens; I can say that this lens is very good. Some photos follow.

Kind regards.

Both very fine. I like the sea haze in #2.

Agreed: both good, but the second is particularly fine.

Both are excellent, with Mother Nature providing a lovely subject and you capturing it with beautifully, with command of artistic and technical aspects.  These inhabit two distinct palettes of subtle, pleasing colors.  Congratulations for two winning images.

I love both but have a slight preference for image #2… Sometimes, it's really worth to wake up early!

#2 is lovely.
I am confused by the light in #1. You see the sun behind the rocks yet you see the effect of the sun as if it were to the left of the frame.

Walt, on #2 the sun is about to rise from the left (East). As such, it is illuminating some clouds.
