Anyone got i1 Match scanner license? Can you help?
« on: September 06, 2013, 04:07:50 pm »

Hello friends

I am using i1 Match with an i1pro Specto and need to create a scanner profile for my Epson 2450 scanner. Unfortunately I do not have the scanner license (just the monitor and printer) since the cost of a license upgrade is more than the value of my printer I was wondering if anyone here would be able to do this for me if I email my scanned file. I have the original i1 scanner target 1.4 which came with my unit so I can scan this and email the file. Happy to pay for someone's time if you can help.

Kind regards
John

Hello John,
I have a licence of i1 match scanner. You can send me the file of the original i1 scanner target 1.4 to mthomann at infomaniak.ch

Hello Matthias,

Many thanks for your kind offer. Not to waste your time I have found someone local to me who may be able to do this for me but they were not sure if their license would cover it. If it's ok with you I will see how I get on with them first and maybe get back to you if it doesn't work out?

Thanks again and kindest regards.

PS. Many thanks for JC on this forum for his help in trying to do this. Unfortunately his software would not work with my target :-( All help is very much appreciated though!!

Fantastic! Thank you for letting me know this. I noticed this software but didn't have time to review it yet. Looks like a bit of a learning curve but may well be worth the effort for future profiles. Do you use this yourself? Is it easy enough to do this?

Kin regards

I use i1Publish Pro2 as a main workhorse, but also use mighty Argyll CMS for specific needs - like scanning a target with Spectroscan, analysing the spectra of papers/light, using CIECAM02 advanced colorimetry, and so on.
