Misty Morning - Colour vs Monochrome

Both are very nice. You might want to apply an orange or red filter in b&w conversion to get the blue part of the sky darker, creating more tonal differentiation and 3-D depth.

It seems to me that with a gentle, foggy scene like this, color always is better than B&W.

I like the shot.

I did actually take it with the intension of the colour shot, pushed the contrast on the lead tree and the foreground a little to play up the mist but found anymore took away from the realism. Favouring the greens in a B&W conversion plays up the dropoff in contrast a bit more.
