Lr 5 Mouse Wheel Use

I heard a while back that Lr4.4 eliminated the the use of the mouse wheel to move sliders left and right. I like using the mouse wheel and never upgraded from Lr4.3 to 4.4 because of this. Can someone confirm this fact? What about Lr5, does that allow use of the mouse wheel to move the sliders?

I really enjoy using old primes on my m4/3 camera. There's something about having to choose your aperture and actually focusing your camera that makes it so much more like... like... PHOTOGRAPHY!

YES, Windows only.

Enough of us snivelled and whined enough about it until the powers that be n Lghtroom Land took pity on us and reenabled it.
