A 2 stitch panoramic taken with a 24mm tilt/shift lens. Exposure for each image was 5 seconds at f11.

Great image in every respect. Makes me feel the cold. Time to return to Arizona.

I'm drawn-in by the foreground glassy/gritty and warm/cool contrasts -- I like the colours.

Me too.

Too tight at the bottom edge.

Like the colors and the contrast. There's also a good sense of depth. A very pleasant image!

It is perhaps a tad tight at the bottom, but it's not a deal breaker for it still being a great image. I likes it!

Great image. You were able to give us a sense of the immensity of the place and its extreme weather in just a few tones. I am convinced that the best images have simple tones and reduced dynamic range.

Unfortunately the position I had to get in to get this shot meant that the foreground had to be sacrificed - hence the tight crop  ;D

The tight crop doesn't bother me at all. If you wanted to why not just add on to the bottom?

What sort of excuse is that? A real photographer would step back into the brash and get the shot up to his neck in icy water!  ..with skuas pecking at his eyes.
