Automatic adjustments for LF lenses
« on: August 22, 2013, 02:58:23 pm »

I googled around a bit but had a hard time focusing my search.  I'm curious about whether there's a plugin/addon/etc for camera raw that will enable me to apply a center filter to images taken with large format lenses.  Camera raw already has the ability to automatically apply certain filters, profiles, etc, to images taken with digital cameras and specific lenses according to EXIF data.  Has anyone found a manual equivalent for LF lenses?  I'd accept a drop-down from a list where you just select the lens the image was shot with, and camera raw applies the correct anti-vignetting to it.  More awesome would be the ability to filter that list for the lenses you own, or to at least group them at the top.

You can create your own lens profiles for LR, and I presume for ACR.  Go to Adobe.com and search for lens profile creator.

unfortunately it turns out this would be useless because of the movements.  There is no guarantee that the lens is centered on the film.

Damn.
