Very atmospheric. I'm not sure I like the vignetting, though.

The vignetting contributes to the pleasing balance, but I agree it's a little heavy.

I like it a lot… The soft colors and the hazy mood are all perfect for a relaxing image. However, I'm with Jeremy and Scott about the vignetting. I'm not sure it helps the image, at least at that intensity. It's like looking through an old shooting scope.

Very nice photograph - well seen and well processed to accentuate the "mood". The subtle colours are beautiful. Perhaps the vignette is a bit strong, but a slight vignette certainly helps to draw viewers in.

That being said, I find the rather central location of the foreground "hay"roll (probably straw) creates an image that is more static than this scene deserves. My eye keeps getting pulled back to that central location despite "wanting" to roam the image. Cropping to place this hayroll off-centre would create a more dynamic composition. Or, perhaps you have another frame composed with the foreground hayroll off-centre. This would allow the eye to to roam around the scene rather than moving in and out from the centre. Just a thought.

This image still needs work and the comments are excellent. Cropping to make it more dynamic, I would go with that. I really haven't had to the time to "play" with it enought but thought it held promise. I'm going to reattack (F-15 pilot invention) ;)

really wonderful color/tones...I go back and forth about central bale...but it is "connected to" the dark weeds on right and the dark corners from all the vignetting...and somehow it seems fine in end.

Very beautiful.  Question:  did you use any negative clarity on this image?

Yes. I use negative clarity for a lot of pics. Love the dreamy effect.
