Yes, macro shooting is hard work and definitely not glamorous. You get covered in sweat, dirt, and mosquitoes ... while you lug a bunch of gear around ... and then you get to sometimes find ticks in places no one wants to find them ... lol ... but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way

PS: With jumpers, especially if it's hot out & they're active, you pretty much throw away 10-20 photos for one good one, and maybe 50-60 for one great one. The snail shot was easy though
