fs B+W 120 Filter 77mm
« on: August 14, 2013, 10:45:59 am »

Selling my B+W 120 Filter, it's a 20 Stop ND filter, 77mm size.  Just looked over by Schneider Optics, few small scratches, but they said it looks good.

Film shooters only, doesn't work with Digital.  hence why I am selling it.

$200 includes shipping OBO

Why would this only be for film? I don't understand.

it doesn't work with a digital camera.  And before you ask me why.  I don't know, but I sent it to Schneider Optics and they don't know why it doesn't work with digital, but it doesn't.  Works as normal with Film

20 stops is crazy dark. The light level is probably just too low for a digital sensor to effectively register, even with a long exposure.

For example, sunny f/16 at ISO 100 translates into a roughly 2 hour exposure in broad daylight/direct sun.
