Very good alternating "layers" of luminosity. I like the way the dark trees are juxtaposed to lighter background areas.

Very pleasing. I like the contrast of the dominating very dark shadows with the smaller illuminated elements.

That is what got my interest! Then when I was processing I want to do something different that straight B&W so I toned it. Printed it last night on my Canon 9500 MKII on textured paper from Ilford and even my fiercest critic (wifey) said it was "OK". The ultimate complement.

Hear, hear! Lovely tones and lines.

Did you happen to crop the bottom? I would love see that bright line of grass extend further along the bottom.
