I know it's not to everyone's tastes but this was an idea that's came about from me looking at different ways of showing my work and approaching the landscape, I'm a bit bored of the traditional wide shots and like to concentrate on the elements of an area. So much so I've started working on a book concentrating on the elements of a landscape. Early days though and very much in the planning stage.

Like them - the tight shots as well as the way you made them into a triptych. The first is my favourite.

Yes, the structure in #1 makes it more than a collection.

I agree.
This is a great idea. I hope you'll post more of these.

Wonderful - it's great to see photographers trying new ways of seeing - nicely done. This will certainly morph into something you are even happier with. I like the way you are showing us some of the details and allowing us to imagine the larger landscape for ourselves based on the parts you've tantalizingly given us.

I find I enjoy triptychs more when each photo can stand on its own and I think you are approaching that point here. Keep at it and show us more of what you come up with!

Along similar lines but a different location, Mellon Udrigle beach in North West Scotland
