A Foggy Morning in Colorado
« on: July 31, 2013, 09:05:35 pm »

This is an early morning shot from my recent Colorado trip. It was shot with a 300mm lens on my 50D so there's a good deal of compression and flattening. I think it looks a little like a diorama sent up rather than a real life setting. I'm curious about your reactions. Thanks for any comments.

I think this does a good job at isolating some strong geometry. I like it. My only nit is that perfect tree on the right is too perfect.

the trees at the bottom kill it... do a selection around them multiple times to resample  small areas and let content aware fill do its magic ! It works well Then crop a little off the bottom and right side  ;)  I can post if OK with you

You got it!! ;D  I just kept your original aspect ratio by taking a little more heavyness off the right

Much better without the trees bottom left.
