I'm not sure this is going to be of much interest for landscape and nature photography, but I recently compared 4 of the major film simulation plugin and filter products. I included full size uploads for comparing fine details.
It's not a comprehensive review, but may be useful for ayone trying to decide if they need one or more of these.
At the very least, it prompted me to re-read Jeff's Digital Negative book more thoroughly – just to understand what some of these presets are doing in ACR/LR to render these looks.
