Just a bunny
« on: July 20, 2013, 11:56:42 pm »

I caught this rabbit chomping on flower petals, but had a tough time getting a shot. He was a bit skittish and I opted for fast shutter speed with narrow DOF.

I thought the Portra-like color toning looked pretty good. I don't do it too often. It reminds me of the kind of thing wedding photographers go for.

To an Australian there is no thing as just a bunny… Rabbit plagues Australia.

Very nice portrait, I like the framing and the colorful petals.

I like it - probably because I'm not living in Australia!

My apologies to the Aussie contingent. Thanks for looking!

Not to worry…

Here's a video to give you an idea about the problem. The story of the rabbit proof fence is interesting too.

If you want another interesting reaction just post a picture of a possum and see what the Kiwis have to say.
