I think you've overdone the grain but it is a wonderfully atmospheric image.

I can see what you are trying to achieve. However the blown out parts bottom left are too obvious and if they were about the same as the sky then it would be better balanced. The eye is immediately drawn to them. Then again on my second monitor it is better looking.
