The North Brooklyn Boat Club runs public canoe tours down Newtown Creek and on to the East River. I paddled along with my Fuji x20 to get some sea-level views of Manhattan east-side, the Queensboro Bridge, Roosevelt Island, Long Island City and Astoria:



That reminded me of a low-tide walk I did a few years ago in Deptford Creek London which was pretty photogenic:
