Adobe Creative Cloud and Encore
« on: July 07, 2013, 08:29:52 pm »

To my surprise, I bought into Adobe's Creative Cloud -- rationalizing that I could learn to use all those powerful programs that I did not have.  Now it seems that I need Adobe's Encore to make DVDs and Blu-Rays for my fans (OK, my mother and daughter) but Encore is no longer available.

I've made a wonderful video of my granddaughter's T-Ball game but need to get it to DVD for my mother.

What's the deal with Encore and Creative Cloud?  Clearly Encore is offered as part of Creative Cloud (http://www.adobe.com/products/encore.html) but I cannot seem to get to it.

Browsing around, it seems that Encore is to be discontinued?

What am I missing?

Wow, that's quite a kludge but looks like I've got it now.  Thanks.

(BYW, did not have to uninstall Premiere Pro CC as I had feared.)
