My Canon 17mm TS/E had an unfortunate disagreement with a marble floor from about 20 feet up. The marble floor won. The front element exploded and the barrel has significant damage to it as well. In any case, the lens is more or less a right-off, and would be for parts only or an enterprising camera repair hobbyist looking for a good deal (new this is $2300 before taxes). Or else it makes for a great coffee mug. In any case, I am open to offers so feel free to send me a note if you are interested.
