Excellent image… but since excellency is Glen's baseline, I must say that I'm slightly bothered by the out of focus branch on the right of this photo. That said, I don't know how I would work around it.

Excellent image… but since excellency is Glen's baseline, I must say that I'm slightly bothered by the out of focus branch on the right of this photo. That said, I don't know how I would work around it.

The first thing that came to mind was that there is plenty of room to crop it out, and that doing so (at least to my untrained eye) might improve the composition even irrespective of the OOF branch. Then it suddenly occurred to me that it looks like all of Glenn's pictures are in 3:2. Glenn, does that mean none of them are cropped, or do you just like to stick to that ratio?

I don't know whether Glen's photo are cropped or not but you're right, they always are in 3:2. Cropping the above photo would do more harm than the OOF branch. I would leave it as it is, there's so much (> 99.99%) to like.
