I very much like the shallow depth of field. The out of focus areas are in the "right place" which makes the animal stand out. I am wondering if a little vignette would work? However it is fine as it is and a capture you should be happy with.

The farmer at Möðrudalur let it wander on the farm after its parents were found dead. My guess is that the pup was destroyed at the end of the summer (2012).
