Thanks for your comment! I used perspective control with scale in PS and it is absolutely straight.

I think this is a nice shot of the place. Where I think it is weak is the rendering. The processing serves to uniformly light the scene in an artificial manner, at least to my eye. We're left with a uniformly well lit scene where the unimportant areas such as the grass and some of the foreground areas steal the drama from the nicely lit buildings. I simply don't care about seeing traffic signs, etc. so sharply in a panorama city shot. How much more pleasing it would be if all that detail was scaled way back into the shadows.

I completely agree with the comment although this is the best public view of the downtown Denver.
I will try to see whether I can follow your comment by manipulating the shadow/highlight in PS.

Sorry, but I can see it with a naked eye, and a simple measuring against the edge of screen reveals it is slanted.

Same here, it's very slight but visible. I used the same technique… we might have slanted displays, though.  ;)
