No, I wouldn't go that far: I don't generally like centred images. I think your framing is pretty good. I'd just add a small amount to the left side so that the edge of the flower doesn't feel so cramped.

Yes, great colours and form, apart from that one big petal on the left. Another approach would be to move around the flower in order to minimize the long petal by foreshortening.
