Camera bag for Medium Format
« on: June 20, 2013, 01:22:15 pm »

I have a Leica S2 with 3 lenses. I find the camera a pleasure to work with and the files outstanding. That's not news of course. The problem I have had is finding something other than a roller case in which to transport the system.  I could squeeze, and I do mean squeeze, the system into a little bit bigger Domke bag but it wanted for lack of padding. At the cost of each of these lenses, I wanted a little more cushioning. I came across a bag made by Manfrotto that fills the bills. It is called the Manfrotto Lino Pro VII Messenger. The bag is a sharp looking, substantial and big for a messenger style bag, It is deep enough for the body to rest in comfort with all three lenses in the case. The fit and finish is grand, the shoulder strap comfortable, overall a great solution for the Leica S2 or other larger gear. I wrote a review on the bag and published it today on my blog www.foto-gizmo.blogspot.com. If you are looking for a better, big bag, this may interest you.
