Rock Art 3
« on: June 20, 2013, 09:36:54 am »

This third "Rock Art" has reinforced my deepening sense of regret at not having found a way to be a member of this trip. There are not the words to express how profound the effect washing through my being as these images appear.

unable to see the "photography" through the overwhelming awe...

Thank you for the window...

I'm seriously considering a limited edition original print portfolio of these images.

Right now I'm looking for a decent presentation folio for them.

Hi Michael,

Depending on the type of material you want the folio to be made of, I'm looking at the Pina Zangaro boxes for my limited edition mini collections. Offered in various sizes they have thin boxes (.5 - 1") made of brushed aluminum (silver or black). You can have them custom laser etched/colour imprinted for that elegant, high quality feel. The price for a box approximately 11x14 was about $60 and the etching was another $100 or so. I plan on including cotton gloves and high quality, interleave paper.

I would love to know what you end up selecting for your art.

Cheers!

Jason,

I've used these in the past, and also a variety of boxes, including hand-made ones.

This time I'm looking for something less expensive so I can price the portfolios aggressively.

Michael,

1) Do you prefer a gloss or matte folio finish
2) What sort of external dimensions were you thinking of
3) what is your desired price point

I'll put my thinking cap on as well as ask some of my peeps to see if we can come up with an interesting, unique yet reasonably priced solution.

Cheers!
