LR feature request: make camera/lens profiles available separately

Was reading through the "Why upgrade ..." thread and someone said "To support your new camera/lens."

So the obvious follow up from that is for Adobe to provide unbundled camera/lens profiles for LR/ACR.

if you convert to DNG older versions LR can handle cameras not directly supported. For some cameras it's not only about the camera profile like the recent Fuji cameras and I'm not even sure that a DNG conversion would make these cameras work in older versions of LR that did not support the special demosaicing needed for these cameras.
