I wish the image linked to the larger version of "itself" as is normally the case, rather than to yesterdays photograph. :-}

Both this and the preceding beach image are wonderful, Michael.  I like the viewpoint and composition, but thirst for more info to help me improve my images.  Were filters used?  Are the images jpegs straight from the camera, or are they processed RAWs?  If they have had any processing, what has been done, e.g. white balance change, contrast altered, saturation changed, etc. etc.?

Thanks - Jonathan

Michael and I have just gotten off the True North, in Wyndham Austrailia.  The reason we posted a small image is that we were transmitting by satellite from the boat.  Not the fastest connection.  Expect to see more images from Micahel and me over the coming weeks.  The areas we visited were incredible.  You can view more images on Facebook. Michael is on his way back and I'll return home by Thursday.  It has been a busy trip and incredible experience.

I’d add a few hundred but will in no way argue with a Lady  ;)
When I saw the image the importance of the 'camera that is with you' crossed my mind. My rule for framing – always frame the vertical for the width when looking at the long aspect of this (precise) frame.
Followed by a thorough enjoyment of what is a very special capture to my mind. Same for Cable Beach Sunset and for the previous shots. Perhaps not surprisingly, they were the images that drew my attention to this site in the first place.
