Taken while wandering the wilds of Alaska - or maybe it was the North Carolina Zoo? In any case, this bear could not have posed better! Panasonic G3 with Lumix 45-200mm lens @200mm.

I dunno, Peter, might have been better if you'd waded out there behind him, camera right, and put a speedlight on a stand to give him some rim lighting.

But recognizing that suicide in this case would have been painful, all I can say is: very nice. Love the claws.
