Farm on Eyjafjörður in north Iceland, in all seasons.  More here.

In howling blizzard.

In the light of the midnight sun.

Nice winter scene, so cold! The second photo provides enough warmth to get back to a normal temperature.

Well done, Rajan!

The blizzard image has a classic "painting-esque" look that I really like. The subtle contrasts in the snow are terrific.

Thank you, Francois and David.

The winter image was shot from the window of our superjeep.  With a raging windstorm outside we could keep it half rolled down for only a few seconds.

I see a lot of photos where the subject is highlighted by darkness above and below. #2 shines in part because this has been captured in-camera as opposed to added.

I've never visited Iceland in winter but a short experience with wintery conditions in early spring convinced me that bad icelandic weather is seriously bad.

The winter storm certainly explains the red roofs!  Pretty featureless landscape otherwise and one could easily get lost.  Nicely done!
