Lr 5 Upright Feature - Importing

Does anyone know if the upright feature coming in Lr5 will be settable as an import option? If it is, will it be able to determine portrait shots from landscape shots and rotate them 90 degrees correctly as part of the import process?

I really enjoy using old primes on my m4/3 camera. There's something about having to choose your aperture and actually focusing your camera that makes it so much more like... like... PHOTOGRAPHY!

It's available in presets, and you can apply a preset upon import.
