Lots of good elements here, but it doesn't quite hang together for me. Perhaps the foreground and background compete too much. Maybe more foreground would help by making the front tree a little smaller. Or cutting off the right-hand tree.

Good points. I evaluated image without the smaller tree but I didn't like it.

I like it very much. To my eye, foreground and background are not competing, but rather complement each other very well. The foreground trees are dark, the backgorund trees are light and "foggy", so there is a clear distinction of the different elements with depth.

I also think that the two foreground trees having different sizes works very well, almost like a "grownup-child" relationship.
