WTB: Kodak DCS Pro 645M/Mamiya ZD/Phase One P20
« on: May 06, 2013, 10:20:28 pm »

Hi there!

I'm looking to purchase a used digital back (Kodak DCS Pro 645M or Mamiya ZD or Phase One P20) with all accessories. I'm looking to pay anywhere from $1200-$2200 (including shipping and PayPal fees [unless you have a solid enough reputation for me to use PP Gift]) depending on condition and which item you are offering. Pictures of the gear would be nice, but not necessary until we possibly have a deal going. I don't have any feedback on here; however, I do have feedback on FredMiranda under 'afkuang' and on eBay under 'kuangfamily'.

Thanks for looking!

Hi thee. Im new also. Im looking at your ZD post and tried looking up reviews and images that people used with this but cant find. I do see a Kodak on ebay for about $1600
What Camera body are you going to attach this to.
Thanks.
There is a demo from Mamiya coming to Calumet here in Fort Lauderdale.
I won one on eBay for $3000 (Mamiya AFD II with 80mm F2.8 and a ZD 22MP Back (The Original not the newer Double Duffer update the sold later Link)
but they never sent it. Adorama really messed me over.
So I think I will save a little more and go with the Phase One P20 21 25 30 route... I can even keep track, then there is the M18 M21 M31 series from Mamiya and i havent even talked about a Hasselblad. Mamiya AFD II

Hi, yes, I see the Kodak body on eBay; however, there was an auction for a Kodak not long ago that sold for just under $1k. The current Kodak 645 BIN item only comes with the back for $1600, while the one that sold for under $1k came with everything. As such, I think that the $1600 one is way too expensive.

I am looking to use this on my Mamiya 645AFD body. I was thinking about the PXX digital backs, but they seem to be a bit more expensive and I am on a somewhat tight budget. Thank you for your response though and I wish you the best of luck finding one as well!

Yeah Capture Integration costs more than eBay/forums, but you get their excellent service as well. Unfortunately for me, I can't justify any extra money, haha.
