Epson 3880 problem help
« on: April 25, 2013, 08:29:34 pm »

My 3880 is leaving some ink along the top of the prints if you are looking at a horizontal print on the top right hand side of the print just like a little ink about the last inch of the print on the border a few millimeters wide. Where do I clean up?
Thanks David

Maybe it's as simple as the paper has a slight curl and/or is 'hanging' on exit

adjust platen gap
adjust  paper thickness setting in driver
pull out the output tray so the paper is supported as it exits the printer.

13 mil paper needs paper thickness set to '4'

If you have print area set to max. Trailing edge printing degrades

Suggest wider platen gap
