Hi folks
Today I would like to talk about my work in Bangladesh, it is a fully contributory work (not paid) for the Watever NGO (The aim of Watever is to assist the resourceless people who live on the shores of oceans and rivers by the study and implementation of Useful Floating Solutions.
http://www/watever.org)
With my son who is a videographer, we made a joint exhibition, which was held in La Grande Motte within the International Multihull Show, it should also take place in June in Paris and Bordeaux probably in November.
At the bottom of this post you will find the links to see the images, but if you have the courage to read, here is the intro to the exhibition text:

When we proposed our collaboration to Marc Van Peteghem we had no special knowledge of Bangladesh. We wanted to approach the subject without moaning or voyeurism, but show the beauty and pride of the Bengalis and their country. Try to get close, bring our sight, from earthlings to earthlings.
Our aim was not to describe the action of Watever, they do so very well. Or explain the need to intervene in Bangladesh, it seems obvious to us.
We just felt the need to show the environment in which Watever works. The stated goal being to provoke the desire to contribute financially to the action of Watever, by acquiring prints and / or film.
Watever work is humble, serious, responsible and requires a lot of human and financial investments. Should this exhibition can get you to help them!
This BANGLADESH! exhibition consists of photography and video. One does not watch a film as a photographic exhibition ... There is a special time for both of them. Convinced that photography and movie can complete each other, add up and have the power to multiply the feelings and emotions, we offer both!

Romain and Nicolas Claris, April 2013
The creation of these images has been made possible thanks to the help of the Watever members, especially Marc Van Peteghem, Yves Marre, Jeremy Bertaud, Claire Tarbes and Sophie Daugé.

The prints were made by Dupon laboratory in Paris with a Durst Lambda.
All the photographs was carried out with a Pentax 645D and Pentax lenses.
