The back is in great shape. I have had no issues with it and the picture quality at ISO 50 is amazing. The best part is you get to use the newest version of capture one for free on all phase one products. I have operated the back on mac and windows computers. I am selling because I am upgrading to a higher resolution sensor.

Although 22MP is the sweet spot before diminishing returns comes with higher resolution sensors as issues with DOF, aperture selection, and diffraction limited resolution. I have used the back with digital and non digital lenses, this lens works well with non digital lenses such as the Gradagon N. With 9um pixels; anything that works well with slide film will work well with this sensor.

The back has almost 34k shots on it (I hear they get 340k). I am second owner. I purchased it at a very large bankruptcy auction and Unfortunately it did not include the box, cover or other accessories. Fortunately it was at least in perfect working order (still is).

I use it with a phase one flex (sliding) adapter which keeps it safe when not in use. The back uses a standard firewire 400 cable. If you have a firewire 800 port you can use an adapter without issues.

In order to ship the back safely we should order a new cover. I will contact phase one and order the part once I find a buyer.

I did purchase a Kapture group "one shot" cable release that wakes the back and shots the image in one push. The back can be used without this part, all you have to do is fire the shutter twice; the first shot wakes the back and the second one triggers the image. Alternatively one could use the capture button in the software (Apple / command K) to wake the back.

I will sell the one shot for an additional $150, half what they sell for new.

Please let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions. The price for the back is $2500 US.

The mount type is known as Hasselblad V mount, I used it on a Sinar with a Flexadapter which I can include at extra cost. The sliding flex adapter allows for easy panorama stitching of 2-3 images.
