overlay - wish for blending options

Today I got the idea that I could overlay my film grain file within C1 saving me a trip to PS to simulate a film look.  It would have worked if there were a few blending options such as softlight or overlay.   That would be really cool to have. But maybe there is already a way and I just don't know it?  Anyone?
