Very nice! Did you add the rain in post?

The image is two captures. The forground and angry bay were one shot; the sky was another; same general direction and time of year. It was raining, but the image did not show it very well, so I enhanced it using a plug in.
Thanks all for comments.

Another 645D image. I think it was a 35mm lens and polarizer, tripod (very windy), mirror lock up.
Thanks

Time to focus on what's important - photographs !

If you're about to reply to another D800 comment - REFRAIN YOURSELF and post an image to this thread instead :-)

Mamiya C220 TLR.  Probably 50mm lens, but maybe 80.  Don't remember for sure.  WAG at the exposure because the battery in my meter had died, but about 3" if I recall at, likely f8 or f11.  This is, largely, a melt runoff stream and the water was VERY cold.

Mamiya C220 TLR.  Don't remember the lens or aperture.  If I recall the film was APX 25.

I love this image.  It looks like a cg movie still (I mean that in a good way).

Where were you standing?

I was hoping to get this photo out for yesterday for the anniversary of D-Day but I ran out of time. This is from a shoot last summer while we were in Nova Scotia. Robert "Whoopee" (don't ask about the nickname, trust me) Wentzell was there for the D-Day landing as well as other mission along the coast. He has fought with the Canadian and American marines. Despite being a happy go lucky guy now you can feel the sadness in his voice and see that he is continually sad in his eyes. Of all the stories he told us the one that hurts the most is the fact that he can't feel true joy anymore. Everything in his life is shadowed by the things he has seen and done during the war. Take a moment to remember the men and women who have fought for us and sacrificed their lives so we can have what we have today. Whoopee signed up at the age of 15, can you imagine your children, or their children doing the same? The thought of that is terrifying.

These were shot with a combination of a Nikon, Canon and a 501cm with aptus 65 back.

Northern daylight, P20, Hasselblad V, Makro planar, Modest split tone in capture One 7.

I toy with updating this venerable back, then wonder why.

It's a convincing argument for Series 500!

How nice it would be to be able to turn the master clock backwards and start my personal digital trip again...
