I love all three but my favorite is the third photo. I like the backlit, foggy atmosphere.

I have to agree with Francois.

Me too. Was this shot at another time of the year? Lack of snow sort of amazes me for this time of the year.

Thanks, Francois, Tony and Chris. I want to print one of these on canvas for a collection on a wall, and appreciate the feedback.

Chris, these are from 2011. You can see distant snowbanks in #2.

IMG_5222 (1).jpg -- I like the light and contrast, I don't have a sense of what else the photo might be about, and the light and contrast don't seem enough to me.

IMG_5190 (1).jpg -- The trees above the bluff in the bottom-left seem flattened and almost look like they to have a lighter outline, maybe the land behind is lighter but it still looks a bit weird to me.

I agree with the others: choose the third.

Thanks, Isaac, Jeremy and Rajan!

I appreciate the comments, Isaac. You remind me that a #1 needs to speak for itself. I'll have another look at #2.

Jeremy, #1 is already hanging. I like it.  :)

As said before...the third one is to strongest.
They are all nice shoots...but the last one is very moody and really gives you the feeling of a misty morning !

Many thanks, mraz and Paulo. I think I detect a consensus.

A few more images from that weekend here.

I certainly don't dislike it: it's a fine shot and I'd be proud to have taken it. #3, though...

Scott,
Your other images on Flick'r are also very nice. I especially like Cannonball concretions (for the different geologic shapes) and Tilted (very like some rock formation of Arizona/Utah but with more vegetation).

Thanks, Jeremy!

Glad you like Tilted, Francois. It's another "orphan" that I seem to like more than other people do, and is now on the wall on canvas.
