Thanks for your response.
I've just tested with my laptop (screen on for 1 hour), but it's the same.
It's like a "burn" between the pixels and the filter, but that's just my feeling.
Otherwise I see since the beginning (2010) : (prepare for some whining
)
- Some "fingerprints/mark effect" when I scroll a page, they're always at the same spots, I thought it was some moiré side effect because I can see moiré pattern with moiré test.
I don't know if it's normal for a LCD, that was my first LCD screen ever, had a Mitsubishi 2070sb before
- Some (it seems) backlight bleeding on the upper side, left and right of the internal sensor hole. My i1Display Pro won't see it right now (because the bleed can change with pressure and it's only my second day with), but I can see it (I'm not the only one) within a 80cd/m2-120cd/m2 range and with a dark or lighter room. Again I don't know if it's "normal", I see it almost only with black color, and the most disturbing is that the shape of this bleeding is moving if I press the sensor block (so moving the screen or incline it can be a problem).
I can't assert these are real problems (it's my question in fact) because I'm not a specialist but I've good eyes so I had to tell it
I'm not in the US in fact, I'm in Switzerland.
I already had a screen swap with support (this time for a left side blacklight bleeding), but communication is quite difficult with them (first time they gave me back a Flexscan screen
) and they have never confirmed or denied my observations. If I write a message in French (west of country) and not in German they'll send me an Eizo non-technical employee who will say there is no real problem without using any instruments (Support is normally done by another company not Eizo itself).
I have 3 months warranty left, so I prefer to be sure what I'll say to them.
Aside of that, I honestly think there is a good reason why this model has almost disappeared of the website and that the new one have the sensor on the down side.
Nevertheless, this screen is really good and I don't want another but this problem (or these) scares me when it appears so close to the warranty end.
Sorry for this message, but there aren't a lot of places where to speak about Eizo.
