I'm a disorderly tourist I never notice what I see so in my head there is a mixture of noises, smells and images which I shell not illustrate ever.So I can't say if this is from St.Paraskeva church or not.I hope it is.

And not a sign in German, English or foreign language. From that side, this magnificent church seem preserved!

As it can easily see, from the outside, that the inside is empty. The prohibition of the inside access has a security reason for the visitors.

Of course not all the tourists are interested in such empty interiors rather to find the bargains of these places :)

Modern tourists are usually more interested in shopping than visiting historical places… The irony of this trend is that you can buy the same bag/shoes/etc… almost everywhere on the planet.

The altar is on the east side of the church.Always on the North side of the altar screen St.Archangel Michael is painted. Here,He was worn like soldier and with His feet on a corrupt angel. On the South side is,always,St.Archangel Gabriel-The Messenger.

The beauty of the topside of the altar screen shows to the visitors the love of those people for their faith.

It is interesting to observe that here,in Nessebar, the Ottomans built only a bath in 17th c.-now a ruin-and a fountain,in 18th c.,still in service. For me this shape represents Ottoman power which was decided to stay here for eternity and in the same time a kind of hidden lasciviousness.
